1. Using Document Downloader
These terms apply when you use Document Downloader's website, document tools, guides, and optional account features. Use the service only if you can accept these terms under the rules applicable to you. Users must be at least 13; minors must have appropriate permission from a parent or guardian.
2. Free forever
Our document tools and guides are free forever. We do not charge subscription or per-download fees for them. Network charges from your provider are your responsibility. Free access does not guarantee unlimited processing capacity, uninterrupted availability, or support for every document.
3. Supported documents and output
The tools process supported public Scribd, SlideShare, and Issuu content. PDF exports contain page images, and SlideShare PPTX exports contain slide images rather than editable original text or charts. Availability and output depend on the source. Academia currently has a download guide; direct downloads on this site are not yet available.
4. Your rights and responsibilities
Only process content you own, are authorized to download, or may use under applicable law. Public visibility does not itself grant permission to copy or redistribute a work. Respect the source platform's terms, the author's rights, and any attribution requirements. You remain responsible for how you use downloaded material.
5. Acceptable use
Do not try to bypass access controls, retrieve private content, disrupt the service, evade rate limits, probe other users' accounts, or submit malicious links. Do not use the service for unlawful activity. We may restrict abusive requests or suspend access where needed to protect the service and its users.
6. Optional accounts
An account is not required for supported downloads. If you create one, provide accurate information and protect your credentials. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Account deletion is available in settings. Our privacy policy describes how related information is processed.
7. Independent service and third-party resources
Document Downloader is independent of Scribd, SlideShare, Issuu, and Academia. Platform names identify the sources our tools or guides discuss; they do not imply affiliation or endorsement. External sites and documents remain under their owners' control.
8. Availability and limitations
The service is provided as available. Sources can change or remove content, and documents can fail to process. We do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, suitability, or permanent access to third-party material. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by unavailable sources, processing failures, or your use of downloaded content. Nothing here removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Changes and rights concerns
We may update these terms or change features for technical, security, or operational reasons. Updates are published here with a revised date. If you believe a source or use of the service infringes your rights, send the relevant URL and details to the address below so the concern can be reviewed.
